Financial Support Through Scholarships

We are committed to removing financial barriers for aspiring professionals. The committee actively funds Endowed Scholarships throughout the Central Virginia Region, partnering with higher education institutions to establish long-term financial aid. These scholarships directly support students pursuing careers in mission critical fields.  Additionally, we are looking for additional ways to engage and support students in high-school programs as well as trade programs.

A Centralized Resource Hub

We strive to be the definitive source of industry information for students, professionals, tradespeople, and anyone interested in the field. Our comprehensive online resources include:

• Direct links to member companies offering internship programs, hands-on training, scholarships, grants, and co-operative opportunities. Vetted online resources and learning tools curated by industry leaders.

Direct Engagement and Mentorship

Understanding that direct interaction is key, the committee organizes and hosts various engagement opportunities to facilitate learning and networking. We work with organizations to provide events such as:

• Panel Discussions
• Lunch and Learns
• Webinars

These events offer invaluable exposure to current industry practices and provide direct access to the experts shaping the future of mission critical work.
